Delivery and Returns
Our shipping rates were established in May 2018. We reserve the right to change these costs as and when the shipping services we use change, so do please check the shipping costs each time you buy. Duties and taxes are a separate issue so international customers will resolve their own tax and duties fees on receipt of the items.
All next day items will need to be ordered before 12 pm so we have enough time to find the item, wrap it up and send it off! Thank you.
Other orders sent with Royal Mail will be packed and dispatched within 2 days of the order being placed and will be sent by 1 st class.
Shipping to UK based address
*Smaller items such as stationery will be shipped as a large letter by standard Royal Mail 1 st class
£1. 30 for next day delivery
* For Large Letters Royal Mail 1st Class ‘Signed For’ £3.50 for next day delivery
* Small parcels with goods exceeding £50 will be sent by 1st Class Recorded Delivery for next day delivery if ordered
*Parcels with goods exceeding £20 and less than £50 will be sent 2nd class
Your order will usually be delivered by Royal Mail. Orders placed by 11 am (Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays) will normally be despatched the same day and should be delivered within the mainland UK on the next working day. Should a higher charge apply to a particularly heavy or bulky item, we will advise you prior to processing your order that a higher charge applies.
Overseas delivery charges will be quoted and charged on a case by case basis. If an item is out of stock, this will be indicated on the Website whenever possible. Delivery times are estimates only and dispatch may be slightly delayed so please allow up to 30 days. If we are unable to perform the whole or part of the order due to any cause or event beyond our control we may by notice in writing to you cancel or suspend the order in whole or in part without liability. We may deliver separately the goods which make up Your order. Where we do so, you will only incur one delivery charge. Title to the goods shall pass to you on payment in full of the price of the goods.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you can return it for a refund, provided it is within 30 days of receipt of your order and in saleable condition. After 30 days from the date of purchase, returned items will be assessed on a case by case basis to determine the cause of failure, if any applies. Faulty items will either be replaced or refunded as appropriate to the circumstances. Products purchased as gifts can only be refunded to the original purchaser. Food items will only be exchanged or accepted as a return if they are unopened and your request for an exchange or refund is received within 30 days from the date of purchase.
Personalised or customised items are strictly non-returnable and we will not issue a refund for any reason. Please ensure you have selected the correct size before you place your order. Christmas items are non-returnable. Sale Items sold as Final Sale items are non-returnable.
If you decide to return an item, the cost of return is your responsibility and Crazy About The Dog will not refund you the cost of return postage. Additional postage for exchanging an item is also your responsibility and we will not pay for additional postage if you decide to exchange an item
How to make a return
Please send an email to email@example.com and we will guide you through the process for returning your goods. All goods must be returned to us in undamaged, unused condition so please take care to package them well. We recommend you include a short note with your name and the reason for your return or exchange. We cannot be responsible for returned goods lost in transit so please insure your returned items for your own peace of mind. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.

We’ve worked really hard to provide high-quality goods that we believe are worthwhile. However, should you wish to exchange your goods you may do so within 30 days of ordering. If you decide to return an item for exchange, the cost of return postage is your responsibility and we will not pay for return postage nor supply pre-paid return labels. The exchange works as the returns process whereby. Once we've received your returned item and as long as the item is in “as new” condition, Crazy About The Dog will accept it and refund you. You will be notified by email or by text message. You can then place a new order and it will be despatched to you as soon as the payment has been cleared.
